Joanne Leffeld’s paintings are an expression of her love of color and passion for life. Inspired by mandalas, her paintings are movements representing the organic flow of the natural world. She paints from a deeply meditative place allowing the forms to evolve intuitively, freely and unscripted.
Joanne studied art with Rene Balfour while living in Charlottesville, VA. Upon returning to the Hudson Valley in 2008, she has studied with several artists through the Woodstock School of Art including Keith Gunderson, Christie Scheele, and Donald Elder.
